Yarn Along

Joining in with Ginny over at "Small Things" to share what I am knitting and reading. Those are two of my favorite hobbies and I wish I had more time to enjoy them...maybe not now, but hopefully soon.

 

 

 

I finished this beanie for Ashleigh. She wore it to breakfast yesterday and was still wearing it at dinnertime. I think she might like it. Hee hee.

 

I cast on for a new scarf for Rian today. He was definitely needing something woolly after seeing his sister with some. I love love love this yarn. I bought it quite awhile ago and had let my son pick the color hoping for a one day project. It is Debbie Bliss's Winter Garden, and the pattern I am using is the "Staggered Rib Scarf" from ravelry. I'm really liking the diagonal ribbing. I am just about finished with that book by Maggie Sefton and am tempted to get the next one in this knitting mystery series, but I should probably get back to Ben Hewitt's "Saved"...or maybe I can read both while going to school full time and basically working full time? We'll see, till next time my friends.
